Shelves: library-borrowed-kindle, made-me-cry

I had the hardest time with this book. For the first half of the book, I couldn't get into the story.

Once I did get into the story, I was hooked. It's definitely not my favorite of the series, but it was good.

This new installment exceeded expectations. I love how Ms. Frost doesn't shy away from exploring the darker and more gritty side of human/vampire/ect. nature. She also doesn't shy away from forcing her characters to face tough choices and realities.

At the same time there is enough real humor to balance the darker moments. "Ask me if I sparkle, and I'll kill you where you stand." Oh how I adore Bones.

I missed Cat and Bones! I was so exited for the new book and it was worth the wait!! Everyones back and this time the ghouls are out for vampire blood and killing weaker vamps with no masters. Cat and Bones are on the case with the help of old friends like Vlad, menchere, Marie, tate and more! I dont want to give away much but there is a lot of action, sadness and surprises. Awesome book,I loved it, it was so good to read about Cat & Bones again and also a lot of all our favorite side characters as well.
