The Walshes still rock: In the fourth book regarding the Walsh Family siblings, we finally get to see what was hinted at in book three, namely Shannon Walsh, oldest girl child and the resident sister-mother to all the Walsh men, meets her match in Will Halsted, (heroine of book one) Lauren’s brother and tasty, dirty talkin’ NAVY Seal. Sigh. What a rocky road to romance it is.

There’s alot of goodness here, starting with the family dynamics of the Walsh siblings. These siblings are fully developed

First and foremost, these books don't just have to be read in order, they have to be read back to back. I read the first three books in 2016 and now, in 2023, I was completely lost going into this one. It's not even a matter of remembering the couple before, these books are so intertwined. Their timelines overlap and things that happen in a prior book don't happen in the current book but you need to know that it happened. I wish I had done a re-read. This one was my favorite. I've been intrigued by Shannon from the beginning. I love her interactions with her brothers and how she doesn't put up with anything from anyone. She's the woman I want to be when I grow up. To see her and Will's story come together and watch Will take care of her and give her what she needs was beautiful. ...more
