Covergasm struck first! OMG – who could say “no” to that? And, of course, sports-related romances (football, especially) are quite possibly my favorites. Lately, there have been more than a few disappointments BUT not so with Brody Easton. This one met all the “feel” demands. A sexy, witty romance between a 28 yr old NFL quarterback and a 26 yr old reporter.
I really enjoyed the first 40% of the bk. Then an OW from the hero's past showed up. And we were "treated" to chapters from the OW's POV all of a sudden. What. The. Fuck. Unlike some readers, I don't mind some OW drama but whole chapters from the OW's POV were really unnecessary. I took off one star for that.

As always, another great book by Vi Keeland! I'm so happy I discovered her recently. She knows exactly how to write characters that I personally adore. Brody Easton. Super sexy, extremely arrogant footballer. You find out early into book he's got a secret background. Unlike other books where a MC has a big secret it's usually one that breaks up a new relationship. Brody's secret shows hes a pretty wonderful guy. Delilah Maddox, a news reporter is determined to figure him out.

I loved this story that was way more than a fun sports romance loaded with fun banter. Brody is a dirty talking cocky Hero on the football field. Delilah is a female sports journalist out to prove herself and not ready to put her heart on the line.

I loved this book. From the smoking hot cover, to the words within, this worked in every way. Brody is a football player, and he is also cocky, and arrogant. Delilah is a sports reporter, and she is also is a bit of a workaholic. Neither allows themselves to actually get They both need to deal with their pasts, or at the very least put them to rest, in order for them to move on and have a healthy relationship with each other.
It is a fun ride to take with these two, so don't miss out.

I loved this book!!! Terrific main characters, engaging storyline, very likable side characters, and super sexy dirty talk and sex scenes! Just what I was in the mood for! ❤️
