*2023* Bumping this one up to 4 stars. I listened to the audiobook this time and I think I did judge it a tad bit too harshly. These two idiots own me.
I don’t know who snapped the picture, but hoo-boy, they’d struck gold with the intimate moment they’d stolen from us.
Oh boy it hurts like a madafaka to give this book 3 stars. I love Him beyond reason. I will probably re-read Him at least once a year. So this is extremely painful. I was really looking forward to this one. You know that feeling ...more

I heart Jamie and Wes. What else can I say? If I wasn’t already in love with these two, Us sent me swooning even more. Sweet, humorous, emotional, and HOT! Everything I could want in my romance! Now I can’t wait to read Blake’s story!!
“Cool,” I say, although I’m not exactly sure what that means. I’m, like, the worst queer dude ever. Somebody pass me the manual.”

I loved it!
Ryan and Jamie plan to get through Ryan's first rookie season in the NHL without anyone finding out he's gay which means they have to appear to be just roommates. Constant separation while one or both of them are on the road and an then an unexpected illness means dropping their guard and coming out ahead of their plan.
These two were perfect together and I loved Jamie's family, they were accepting of anything and just carried on with their banter. Especially Jamie's mom, she was aweso ...more

4 stars. The beginning of the story was kind of slow and Blake really got on my nerves. I loved the second half. These two deserved their HEA.

Love this couple, and loved this book! So many things about this story totally warmed my heart - and the list of family, friends and coworkers (with a few asshole exceptions) who showed their support in the absolute best ways = ❤️🥰❤️ Such a feel-good book! I am an idiot for taking so long to read it!

A formidable sequel to Him, this book offered a realistic account of both the ups and downs of a long-term relationship. It didn't shy away from the struggles many couples face over the course of a relationship. From helplessness to depression to money issues, this book had it all. And one of the more satisfying endings I've read in a while. I love this whole series (including the WAG books).
