I’m a fan of Pam Goodwin’s writing. Her previous books, Deliver, and Vanquish were both solid 5 star reads for me.

Dark Notes kept me glued to the pages. I loved Ivory’s strength, her sass and her determination to escape from her awful life. I was rooting for her to achieve her dream. The horror she suffers is so vividly described, it had me holding my breath, tensing my muscles and hating her tormentors. Great writing!

A forbidden teacher-student relationship, wonderfully written by Pam Godwin!!

The chemistry was immediate between these two (although Emeric tried to resist, he tried to be the responsible adult/teacher), turning quickly from looks to touches and then finally more.

Emeric knows that getting involved with Ivory is forbidden, but can’t resist the pull between them (and no longer wants to). Emeric is domineering, protective, a take no shit Alpha; who is also sweet and endearing to Ivory.
