Full. I am SO full. I was a greedy glutton girl with this series but there are valid reasons for such ravenous behavior. When it comes to this pair of cowboys living their best life with red dust on their boots, I get a full pardon for such insatiable hunger. They swept me off my feet with the first part of this series and just when I thought they couldn’t take me any higher, they pushed the bar far beyond plain view. Considering this is the fourth and final book, their history is pivotal here. ...more

I absolutely loved this series, and book 4 may have been my favorite.
The first 3.5 books have been from Charlie’s POV, book 4 was from Travis’ POV and I absolutely loved it. In the previous books, you learn Charlie has many insecurities and doesn’t feel he is worthy of being loved, most likely from his a bigoted, abusive father. But Travis’ love for Charlie is so evident in the way that Travis sees Charlie. For Travis, Charlie is brilliant, confident, and so very worthy of loving. You see how C

A very beautiful finish to a very beautiful series.

Fate for sure.

It was the best type of book. Just everyday life and growth and togetherness.

I loved the epilogue.

Beautiful.

PS~I would read this before 3.5 for the correct timeline. 3.5 should maybe just be treated as an extra.

Charlie loves the red desert dirt of the Sutton station, and Travis loves Charlie. They have a colorful cast of characters around them who are family including the couple who the older couple who stepped in as surrogate parents after Charlie's mother ran off. I love how Ms. Walker itches her characters together and make a family and watching these people grow as i ...more

3.5 stars. After loving parts 2 and 3, I was looking forward to reading the final installment of this series, but some of the magic was missing from this one.

Maybe it was that the story was told only from Travis' POV. It's a case of being careful what you wish for. I wanted Travis' POV, but I was so engrossed in Charlie after the first three books, the switch proved difficult. I didn't find Travis or his thoughts all that interesting. Charlie was so layered, but Travis seemed a bit flat by comp
