This is a spinoff of Ward's highly popular Stepbrother Dearest but can be read stand alone. Even before I read this, I was so glad to see that Chelsea (our h) was going to get her HEA. She was the innocent GF who the asshole H dumped in Stepbrother. And even better, her story is the better romance IMO.

This book was so good! I realized the cover was similar to her other book Stepbrother Dearest but I still didn't know it was sort of a spin off. The first book was about Greta and Elec and how their relationship grew. In it, Elec broke the heart of a great girl that just wasn't for him. Her name was Chelsea and this is her story after being dumped....

4 and a half stars. That is really because the last half of the book rocked. I actually forgot about the dvd incident and Chelsea became someone I could relate to. She and Damien were made for each other, like he knew it all along. The romantic things he said to her and the spontaneous event had me sighing. Beautiful!

This was absolutely perfection!!

After Chelsea's relationship unexpectedly comes to an end, she moves to a new apartment complex. This apartment comes with a very sexy neighbor.

She is having a hard time getting over the breakup, but after conversing with sexy neighbor Damien, he helps her see the light.

The become friends, but the chemistry is very apparent from the start.
