WOW! Left me breathless. This is one of THOSE books -- the kind that keeps your mind engaged long after the final word in the Epilogue. Terrific second chance storyline that powerfully pushes through the boundaries of unique -- so much more than just a girl and a boy -- so much more than just a love story.

I really enjoyed this story within a story. I was truly cheering for Jase and Emiline to find their way back to each other. I loved Jase's patience to get Emiline's attention through the book he wrote and the way he wrote it. Emiline is forced to re-live and deal with some aspects of her past while reading the book. It took her so long to finally finish the last couple chapters that it was stressful to read at times!
