I really loved book 1 in this series, Optical Illusion, but unfortunately, book 2 was a miss for me. I was so frustrated with the book, I honestly wanted to DNF it, but I pushed through and finished it.

OMG I think I loved this one ever more than I loved the first book. This one isn't as dark a read as the first one. Chris is still filled with self-doubt and those unworthiness feelings even more so in this book than in book one. Blank Canvas picks up right where the first book ends. Chris is seriously injured in a hit & run accident by an unknown party, and no I never guessed who it was. They came way out of left field.
