I don’t really know how to review this the way the author probably wants it reviewed. I don’t see this book as a standalone. At the very least it should be called a spin-off or something. But even that isn’t enough. It is to me, a continuation, almost a .5 in a series.
Anyway.
If, by chance, you picked this up without reading the Experiment in Terror Series and the Devils Series, I can’t imagine you not having to go read those books immediately. How you could not need to get their stories is craz ...more

4.5 stars. I loved this book way more than I thought I would (horror isn't really me genre!) I loved meeting Ada properly, I loved reading Perry and Dex again, I loved Jay and I love Karina Halle's writing.

When Karina Halle finished the EIT series I was sad to loose the world and characters she created. But thankfully she didn’t want to completely leave that world, bringing back my favorite duo Dex and Perry but focusing now on Perry’s sister Ada.
