Romance is in the air (quite literally)! The dynamite duo of Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland add another fun-to-read sizzler to their list of highly entertaining reads. A terrific collaboration packed with an all-consuming passion, high-octane chemistry and so much more. Gotta love the snappy and quick-witted repartee between Carter and Kendall!

I read this years ago and loved it and I'm glad I found a reason to relive the greatness that is the writing duo. Carter is our playboy pilot. He meets Kendall when she is on the cusp of a major life decision (at the airport). The end up embarking on this adventure together that is full of fun, but also heartwarming conversation. Out of the three "Cocky" books (Cocky Bastard & Stuck-Up Suit) Playboy Pilot is my least favorite. I'm not really sure why. Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland are a fantastic writing team. They bring the dirty and the funny together perfectly... I will always read whatever they put out, unfortunately, this one didn't do it for me.

Another winner by this writing due! Playboy Pilot started out a bit slower, had a great story and some fun twists! And giant bonus was the mention of an actual place really close to my home helped me connect and make the story real! Super amazing narration on the audiobook!

This book started out really well for me, and I was hoping I was in for a treat, however, Kendall soon became very wishy-washy and annoying to me, and there were some OTT plot twists, and I just lost interest after a while. By the time the silly drama was behind this couple, I just wasn't as into them anymore. I skimmed quite a bit in the 2nd half. There were some things I did enjoy about this story, but overall, I was disappointed.

Another fun read by these two authors!
As soon as I started reading I was hooked. I needed a fun, sexy, romantic, addictive romance and got exactly that. I loved Carter! He was upfront and honest with Kendall from the very beginning. He didn't try to hide anything, like his playboy past and just wanted to focus on Kendall and live life to the fullest with her. Of course there's a little bit of angst but not too much. I look forward to their next book! ...more
