Ok. Really not military but x military and x police. I was worried when I first started, so if I were honest the first half of the book would be 4 stars because it was a bit slow. But then it got action packed quick. And was a very good hea. This is my first time reading this author but I can't wait to read Roba's story.

I haven’t read many M/M/M books or books focusing on Poly Relationships of any kind. In fact, I believe this is only the second book I’ve read that features a Poly relationship but I have to say I much prefer these over the stereotypical Love Triangles where two people are fighting for one person’s love and attention. I haven’t read many M/M/M books or books focusing on Poly Relationships of any kind. In fact, I believe this is only the second book I’ve read that features a Poly relationship but I have to say I much prefer these over the stereotypical Love Triangles where two people are fighting for one person’s love and attention. While Poly relationships aren’t part of my own life, I’ve always understood how they can work for others and I’ve enjoyed getting to experience a relationship between three men develop and the three of them work together to make the relationship work and be what each of them needs.

Main Characters:

○ Jonas Davenport - Lived on the streets of Chicago as a teenager after being kicked out of his home by his parents at the age of fourteen. Jonas had no choice but to do what was necessary in order to survive, even if that meant selling his body to men who were willing to pay him. He has spent years abroad in Paris afterwards and has only recently returned to New York where he plans to make his dream of building his own art studio and gallery where he’ll teach classes for local kids.

○ Mace Calhoun - Ex-Cop. Hitman. Bisexual. Part of an underground syndicate that seeks to get justice for the innocent by taking the lives of the guilty. He’s assigned the case of Jonas Davenport, a young artist believed to be a pedophile that has abducted several underage boys, boys just like Mace’s son who he recently lost to another pedophile.

○ Cole Bridgerton - Ex Navy Seal. Recently returned from duty only to be delivered the news that his missing sister has been confirmed dead. He’s seeking answers about what happened to his sister, and the only person who can provide those answers for him is Jonas Davenport.

Overall Thoughts:

The characters are truly what made this book to be a 5-star read for me. I felt connected to each of the MCs on an incredible level and I believe this is because the author rotated between all three main characters POVs allowing the reader to get a closer look at who each of them are instead of simply viewing them through another character’s eyes and never knowing how their mind works. Jonas, Mace, and Cole have all dealt with their own fair share of trauma and their histories lead them to each other. And maybe, just maybe, the three of them will be able to heal with the help of each other.

4.5 stars only because the sex scenes were never messy especially when of the partners has never been with 1 man let alone 2. Over all this was a really good story & I will be reading the next one in the series. You have this group that has taken the law into their own hands when the law has failed to bring justice to those that have harmed others, especially children. Mace is sent to take out Jonas believing him to be a pedophile but something stops him. What we then have is a story to find out ...more
