A fantastic book that kept me entranced with this awesome story and conclusion to one of my favorite series. Revenant and Blaspheme are just wonderful characters who seem to want different things from their lives, but both are caught in situations that seem beyond their control. Not realizing that they will need each other to overcome their difficulties.

One of the things that I like about Revenant is how he tries to pursue even though Blaspheme tells him that she is not interested in him. Revenant and Blaspheme are just wonderful characters who seem to want different things from their lives, but both are caught in situations that seem beyond their control. Not realizing that they will need each other to overcome their difficulties.

One of the things that I like about Revenant is how he tries to pursue even though Blaspheme tells him that she is not interested in him. She even calls Revenant some really nasty names and this makes him more determine. He is never denied for female attention, yet there is something about this woman that he wants. She is a doctor, yet Blaspheme is hiding the fact that she is a vrym and that there are creatures wanting to kill her. Also Revenant has been asked to help Gethel deliver Lucifer and make sure that nothing destroys him before he is born. Of course, Satan wants him to bring him an angel’s head. Yet, things get complicated because his blood has a taint of Satan’s blood. So of course nothing goes as planned.

There are massive things that happen with Revenant and Blaspheme. Their relationship is definitely intense as she has her own secrets. Everything gets complicated as we learn a lot of things about what has happened in the pasts of our two main characters. Through out the book there are some great epic scenes between Reaver and Revenant. I like how they are fighting about the things that seem important, rather than working together to destroy Satan. So many unresolved issues get talked about.

Also the love scenes between Revenant and Blaspheme are really intense and so well written. I like how Revenant decides to give up control for once. He has never ever wanted anything or anyone as much. During the act, he learns that this woman is the only thing that he will ever need even though they made a deal. Plus their relationship gets more complicated because of all the crazy things that happen. Some things that have happen in the past from a long time get brought up. Nothing is ever that easy for any of the couples.

The epic battle is one of the most intense, crazy scenes that I have ever read and I enjoyed it immensely. It was a great moment of Revenant and Reaver working together to defeat their greatest enemy. Not to mention they also manage to get rid of the Gethel and Lucifer problem. It was so good to read, plus we learn what Revenant angelic name is and that there was a prophecy regarding him. I like how someone explain it to him and it definitely was a great way to give this series a wonderful, perfect ending. Plus Revenant got his happy ending as well.
