I love Kate Stewart's writing and her books. My first was "Drive" and I was addicted. Now I'm working my way through the backlog of books I missed. The Balls In Play Series has been such a great surprise and I've enjoyed reading every single word. As always, as a reader I'm a little hesitant when I begin reading the second book in a new series by a relatively new-to-me author. Not a chance for disappointment here though. This second book in this series was ok. It had some funny parts. In general, I just don't think I like this author's writing style. It reads like a checklist of facts sometimes, like a lot of the Disney princess writers ( Aurora Rose Reynolds, Belle Aurora etc.). Often those facts are incorrect .....inducing much eye rolling from me..... ...more
