I loved this book but that was to be expected! I had never read anything by Vi Keeland until she cowrote a few books with one of my favorite authors, Penelope Ward. After enjoying them so much I had to try her own books. She writes characters that are so much fun (and sexy)! Even when they have HUGE egos! <--See what I did there?!? I was literally snickering throughout the entire book. And I was so glad when Drew fell in love and found his happy ending. (And not the dirty kind) A true Happy Endi

I loved every second of this book.
It was hot and sexy, but also had me laughing out loud.
Drew is a bit bitter after what his ex put him through, so that has definitely shaped his thoughts on relationships and women. Until he meets the one woman who shows him there is more to relationships and women than he has experienced in his past.
Emerie has been in love with her friend for the last three years waiting for her chance to be with him, even going as far as moving from her home state of Oklahom ...more

Great first read of 2018. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. Nice, complex characters (though Drew was a little more fleshed out than Emerie). Having a bit of a book hangover after this one! 4.5 stars.
