All the stars ✨ This was a fabulous story. Two of the best main characters ever. Crazy ass controlling family keeps trying to ruin these two during the entire book but nothing stops them. Cord and Anne are now my fav book couple. Only disappointment was no real epilogue at the end.

I loved the plot of this book. I always enjoy a story with an underdog, and this one had 2 leads who were people you were rooting for beyond believe because they had so much stacked against them. I enjoyed how they cared about and treated each other, and I adored how much they both cared about animals and underdogs themselves.

That being said, I hated almost everyone else in this book at one point or another (and some I hated throughout the entire damn story) because they were so horrible to one ...more
