Before I even read a blurb for this book, knowing it was going to be Apollo's story, I'm not gonna lie....I was so excited. In Off Base, Apollo was such a force of strength and integrity; you couldn't help but fall in love with him. In all honesty, I'm not always a huge fan of age gap stories, but the idea that he falls for his kids caretaker...I was sold.

Another excellent addition to the Out of Uniform series.
I loved Apollo and his alpha tendencies, but Dylan -strong and intelligent- stole the show for me.
Solid writing, May/December romance mixed with some hurt/comfort, and hot sexy times made this a great read!
Highly recommend.

Two things that stopped this from being 5 stars are: Apollo's whole you are too young and kept calling him a kid but really wanted him. I just have an issue with the older MC keeps calling the younger MC a "kid", don't know why but it's just something I don't like. And the so called "secret" that Dylan kept from him that drove Apollo off the rails was just stupid.

Apollo was Dylan's teenage crush & was crushed when Apollo got married. But years later, Apollo is now a widower with twin daughters ...more
