This one was yummy!! I loved the best friends pining for each other trope, I think it was well played here. The 80% drama was a bit frustrating and I'm not a huge fan of angst that is so obvious you are just waiting for it with every page turn, which is what happens here...but it was pretty short lived.

I think I've got to mention the steam level... it was fire level...the chemistry was smoking hot.

I highly recommend this series!! ...more

I really enjoyed watching Maddox & Ben move from friends to lovers to more. There were issues that both of them had to work out. What stopped me from giving this story 5 stars is the unnecessary blow-up, misunderstanding & wallowing in a bottle that Ben did. I can understand that he would be upset but the way he went about handling it was uncalled for. And his assuming that just because he was wanting a career in the SEALs that Maddox wanted it as well. But beyond that it really was a really goo ...more
