I didn’t love this book. The more I think about it the more I find that bothered me.
This is mind blowing to me since I think I have loved everything KA has written except her new Honey series, which I won’t read, but everything else, even if it was a 4★ read, it was loved.
The book hit me emotionally like only KA can do, but, I didn’t love it. More times than I can count I had a lot of dust in my eyes. I was invested in it as a whole. I was. It just had something that ru ...more

I knew when I started this book there were a lot of lower ratings than I'm used to seeing for a KA book, so I was a bit weary when I started it. And after finishing it and reading other reviews, I understand where so many are coming from. Most KA books I've read are a 4* or 5*, but this book was a little "too" lots of things for me (view spoiler)

LOVE THIS SERIES!! REVIEW TO COME!
The Time In Between is an absolutely beautiful second chance at love story. It is full of emotion, love and heartbreak, with touches of suspense.
After a heartbreaking loss, Cady's life has come to another crossroads. She decides to revisit the love she has never been able to forget.

I have to say that I had been looking forward to Coert's story, and finally it is here.
I enjoyed this story, but it was so emotional and hard to read at times. Mainly all the things that Cady went through with her family and then the way Coert treated her when she first came back to Magdalene. It was just heart-wrenching.
The only reason that I didn't give this 5 stars is because I like my heroines a bit tougher than Cady, and not so seemingly naive. I also have started to dislike it when the h ...more
