Loved this book.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It wasn’t a typical KA book.
I’ll admit that I was a little hesitant to read it because it’s classified as a Fantasy romance. But I was really surprised that it was more of a mix of contemporary, historical (like) with some paranormal aspects. Now, I don’t claim to know the official definitely of “Fantasy” novels, but I wasn’t expecting what I got.

I was one of those doubters who left this series for last. I love every Kristen Ashley book that I've read, but parallel universe, magic, witches and even dragons? I had my doubts. Boy was I proven wrong!! Right from the opening paragraphs I was drawn in by the magic that is a KA story.
Finnie is a kick-ass heroine, snarky and sarcastic and just always ready to take on an adventure.

Kristen Ashley has done it again. Of course this is a bit of a departure from the other books that I have read by her, but it was just as good as the other.
Finnie goes to a parallel universe where everyone, well the good people, has a twin. She wants to go for the adventure, but mainly so that she can have a chance to see her loved ones again or at least this new world's version of them. She changes places with Sjofn, her twin. Sjofn, who we don't hear from personally, wants to leave her world ...more

It’s amazing how a book you loved years ago isn’t just as good as it was then but actually better.

Timeless.
I originally read this series in 2012. With the 5th and final book in the series just being released I felt, to get the most out of it, I needed a refresher. I’m not the biggest fan of re-reading books, there just isn’t enough time and there are way too many new books, but man, Kristen Ashley books need to be the exception.
