Yeah, she did it again. Beautiful. I loved every page and that epilogue was brilliant. I was really nervous about this one. I mean their story wasn't going to be easy and in my brain I wasn't sure how it would work. No worries, it WORKED. They worked. Looking the same as what they had and what they lost was almost a non-issue for the romance. It was an issue, but for them, they SAW and that was beautiful. I love this world and these books. Loved this forth story in Kristen Ashley's Fantasyland series!

Ilsa Ulfr has been on the run for years from her abusive husband Pol. The Apollo Ulfr of her world is an asshole drug lord while the Apollo Ulfr (Lo) of the parallel universe is a loving, grieving father who's in charge of battle strategy for the Queen.

I love this series and this book in particular. It perfectly blends fantasy, romance, mystery in an action packed story that transported me to a whole new world.

I love KA, and I enjoyed this book. It was sexier than the others in this series, plus more emotional. I found myself in tears or almost a lot of the time.

Why then didn't I give it 5 stars? I am sick of the men screwing up, and instead of them making things right, someone talks the heroine into doing it instead. That in this book, considering what Ilsa/Maddie had already been through in her life, was worth a star deduction from the overall story.
