What Members Thought

I love when I jump into a book, without knowing very much about it, and I am sucked into the story from the very beginning. Waiting for the Sun is a debut novel by Robin Hill, and I am so glad I read this little gem.
This story is about a young woman, Francesca Valentine, who meets and falls in love with a successful businessman in the music industry, Darian Fox. At first, it is a “friends with benefits” relationship, but when emotions get involved, everything gets complicated. Darian is struggli ...more

4.5* Thank you to Robin for the ARC - you rock!
Thoroughly enjoyed this - it was right up my street! As a reader you get immersed in the story right from the first page. I loved the writing, my bath went cold whilst reading it lol. Frankie was great and it was easy to understand her feelings and fears. Loved Darian but there was a point where I wanted to slap him and slap him hard!
Can’t wait for the next one - what is the proposition?

Solid 4 "Flight" Stars!
I liked it a lot. This one dragged a bit for me in the middle. But the beginning and ending were really great. Darian and Frankie are easy to fall for. I liked them both. Now for the wait... Happy reading! ...more

I love duets -- good ones, that is. And believe me, this one had me in my chair from start to finish. Beautifully written, raw emotions and hearts laden with loss, sadness and misery. Two strangers -- who were in the right place for a momentous encounter. Their story continues in "Riders on the Storm" available now. It's definitely recommended that you read them in order of release.
One thing I did right and plan on repeating in the future with new duet releases -- I discovered this duet late in ...more
