For me there is never a question whether or not I'll one-click on a book by Penelope Ward -- it just comes automatically. I love her books -- and those she co-authors with Vi Keeland as well.
This friends-to-lover, triangle and sometimes square, second chance romance held something for everyone. As always, the dialogue is witty, the banter is exceptional, and the romance spicy and fun-to-read. It also held a deeper and sometimes heartbreaking message. As always, PW handled like a pro.

This was just an ok read for me. I felt like it was quite predictable.
I love a good friends to lovers story. This one had the added benefit of a shared history, so it had a second chance vibe also.
Amber, just getting out of a long relationship with Rory, is trying to get back into the swing of things dating wise. At the suggestion of a friend she decides to use an escort type service, where after going through the candidates she decides to pick Gentleman Nine. (Hence the title.)
Channing, Amber and Rory's childhood friend, is rooming with Amber while he is in town ...more
