Another review I’m bummed to write, especially because I adore Amy Harmon, but my rating for this book doesn’t change that in the least. I am hoping that even though this story was a miss for me that it will really work for others. ☺

I was very excited to read this book since it had to do with a character who was introduced in 2 other books I loved by AH. However, for some reason, I had trouble connecting with all of the characters. I felt sad for Cora, but then I started to really resent so many

Stunning in every way possible. Amy Harmon has written a story that will challenge readers to venture beyond their comfort zones.

One lie changes everything . . .

Mercedes was filled with sunlight and generosity, while dark and rumbling clouds marked Cora. Moving smoothly between past and present, this story is far beyond romance and much more about lasting friendships between a cast of richly textured characters.

Simply unforgettable.

I wanted to know his story, and wow did I end up I loving Dr. Noah Andolin and his feisty fiery best friend Mercedes Lopez. All the characters j ...more

My favorite Amy Harmon book!

One of the best books I’ve ever read. Truly, a phenomenal story told with flashbacks, about three friends navigating life, love and heartache. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throw my Kindle. This book is definitely in my all time favorites! Noah, Cora and Mercedes’ story is a must read.

I wasn't really found of the dead wife.. thought death was an easy punishment for her. The hero didn't really impress me too much either for some reason. Just underwhelmed tbh this story did have a lot of potential ...more
