Re-Read, 2024

Sigh. Regardless of that gushing review below, there was always something about this one that just made me uneasy. So, going into this re-read I thought I'd pay better attention, maybe see if I could figure it out. I think that what I loved seeing was also what I was uncomfortable with. The pretending. Yes. Seeing Ty and Zane be able to be, to be able to be out, to be able to be together was something to see for sure. But, with how wrong their thoughts are about each other the prete Re-Read, 2024

So, going into this re-read I thought I'd pay better attention, maybe see if I could figure it out. I think that what I loved seeing was also what I was uncomfortable with. The pretending. Yes. Seeing Ty and Zane be able to be, to be able to be out, to be able to be together was something to see for sure. But, with how wrong their thoughts are about each other the pretending also sort of made it worse, ya know? It just added that extra 'it's just pretend; the job' level that they DID NOT NEED.

It seems my second read, the audio, I felt a little bit more like the above and less like the below so there is that.

No matter, this still gets all the stars. It was still one of the best things to experience. It was still a MAJOR step forward. And I'm so glad that something so wonderful did come from it all.

This was for sure a turning point but there is still a long road ahead. Buckle up.

This is the book isn't it? The book that makes me scream more, more, more, now, now, NOW! But this is also the book that gives us that sense of a turning point. That feeling we are getting to where we need to be but KNOW it will not be that easy. I hate that comfortable feeling with a slight sense of dread. These books seriously just keep getting better and so freaking more believable. Ty and Zane, OMG. Watching their relationship build, grow and become so much more with each look and each touch and each thought is one of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced. I thought the emotion I felt in the second book was overwhelming, this one blew me away. To get to see them “pretending” was brilliant. To see just how far they would go for each other was breath taking. And then, Ty, oh my dear sweet Ty. Such a shock. I wanted it, needed it and for sure thought it would be shouted by one of them but my God, what happened after I think I fell completely in love AGAIN! I am horrible at reviewing books I gush over so I am just going back to my first sentence, more, more, more, now, now, NOW! Happy New Year and just Read. ...more

It's funny to go back and read reviews from a million years ago. Although my original review makes me feel weird, I guess at the end of the day it still stands after this re-read.

Man, this one packed quite the punch. Seeing what could be but hearing all the doubts and watching all the missed opportunities just did me in, again.

Flirty fun. Undercover lovers. Best one yet!

I just can’t decide what my favorite part of this third installment was, but I’m thinking it may have been the total package as a whole that did it for me.
The humor was witty and fun.
The action was not over the top or too sparse, it was just enough.
The passion was heated and in abundance.
And their emotions finally came out to play, well Zane is still working on his, but we’re making progress.
It was everything I could ask for in a spectacular story ...more

Omg I finished it. I don't know what is wrong with me but I did not like this book. It was so boring and I was really struggling to get to the end. I doubt I'm going to continue with this series. I feel so bad because Zane and Ty are just perfect. ...more

How can 2 FBI agents find themselves in so much trouble?? I lived that this story made them role play. And I love where the story is going. The only thing keeping this series from being 5 stars for me is that there is just to much filler, making them longer then I think they need to be.

This one didn't have that much suspense to it. Yeah Ty gets almost killed a few times but it wouldn't be Zane and Ty if they didn't. This was more about Zane and Ty embraces them. ...more

I am completely addicted to Ty and Zane. Theirs is such a fragile relationship in some ways but at the same time strong. I am utterly enthralled by this series.
