Great first book in this new series! This story was very touching. I not only was hooked in by the best friends to lovers plot and all of the angst that entailed, but I was also very moved by how Noah's PTST/TBI was written, as well as the very important and unwavering support and friendship he received from the other veterans while going through his struggles. This book is what I have come to expect from a Laura Kaye book, especially a military related one - emotional, intense and raw at moments, respectful, sexy and sweet. The biggest thing I can say here is that the issues related to Noah's TBI and PTSD were handled incredibly well. This is a really good start to a brand new Laura Kaye series, The Warrior Fight Club.
You have your wounded and broken vets and an MMA fight club just for them. What could be better?
This was a little slow to start for me. But, once WFC (Warrior Fight Club) came into play at about the half way point, it really picked up for me.
In the first few chapters we did read a few times about Noah’s injuries. So it seemed a little repetitive.
