I don't usually mind the dead spouse trope but this one didn't really work. Why? Because Rowe got on my bloody wick with his constant push and pull. I hate when a grown man acts like a teenage girl, and Rowe worked that teenager vibe. 🙄
I wasn't too crazy on the sex either, Rowe basically used Noah and I hated that Noah became his bloody doormat.

First I must mention...I can't believe that book 3.5 isn't out but book 4 is! I want to keep going but must read in order...even if the order seems odd. Anyway...
I wasn't sure what I was going to think about this book. How we got to this book was devastating and I just didn't know if I was going to want this story.
I was mostly wrong. It was done very well, classy almost. I didn't cringe or feel betrayal or any of that. I believed it and felt it made sense.

4.5 Stars!
3.5 stars. I had an issue with the way that Rowe treated Noah. I can't begin to understand what it's like to deal with the death of a love one. But, Mel took way too much center stage in the book. I know she was a big part of all of their lives & her death was horrible & tragic. We have some closure with the bad guys, but I really couldn't get why the hatred. The anger seemed to be a bit misplaced. I was a little confused on this. And the ending w/Lucas', didn't like that at all.
