This story was more than I bargained for. I was an angst feast. But! Both main characters make it all worth while. Sarah was a stubborn, determined woman. Especially for her time. This book started out great, as the story is good but then.......the story took a turn into my most hated overdone storylines. The “ she gets pregnant and he doesn’t know about the baby and kid grows up without Dad for years and the family is kept apart by stupid circumstances “. But I have to say, the story is well written and I do have another book by this author on my kindle, so I’d read it.
