I went into this book seeing all of the mixed reviews, so my expectations weren't that high, but this book just ended up really working for me! This story line is one that I really enjoy, and I liked the angst and secrecy that came with it, plus all of the other parts of it I enjoyed (Dutch and Jagger, Bev and Tad, the issue and responses regarding brotherhood and loyalty, family (the ones we choose), grief and loss, love, etc.). I don't even know what I am supposed to say about this one.

Mostly it made me really, really sad.

It also made me a bit uncomfortable. Keely was a biker babe. Really.

I still, even at the end, feel so fucking sad for Hound. So much time invested and kind of overlooked and then when it gets recognized it is "wrong".

I loved her boys though. I think they were the best.

In the previous books I had started to dislike Chaos. It started with Millie and High's book.. That book just made me dislike these men that I had been completely in love with, but they all (at least the older men) disappointed me with the way the treated Millie in that book.
