What Members Thought

A year ago I happened to stumble across a debut novella that felt like a winning lotto ticket. The story was phenomenal but the voiced that penned it was stunning. I knew Horvat would continue to wow me and I have eagerly pounced on anything they have released since.
What compels me with Roe’s stories is the profound feelings woven into the words.

This was a short quick read for me that I liked. Michal is a Polish-born Swede, whose parents moved to protect him from Poland’s deeply rooted homophobia when he was a teenager. He is happy in Sweden happy with his working as a manager in a chocolate shop and happy with his best friend and roommate Lena.
