A bit of a mish-mash of feelings that begin when a young girl falls for her best friend's older brother. Ian and London have a soap opera kind of relationship. At times it's not easy to like either one. After an eighteen year separation (yes, that's right 18 years), a tragedy brings them together again. First, I just have to say that, separately, these two authors are powerhouse storytellers on their own, but together, they are amazing. Having read several of their individual books, I am quite familiar with their writing styles and capabilities to turn out powerful stories, and I'm happy to say that, together, they surpassed all my expectations. I adore both of these authors and when I found out they were writing a book together, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. This book did not disappoint and the writing was phenomenal. These two have a way of writing relatable characters that have flaws and that you can’t help but root for. The story of London and Ian is filled with heartbreak and missed opportunities.
