All aboard the Hotness Express – I took the ride but it was a rough track for most of the journey. I had a very difficult time getting through to the end. It took me over half the book to even come close to viewing Célian as anything but a rote sex machine. At 84% I finally felt myself falling into the relationship for more reasons than just an overload of dirty filthy sex romps. Real romance finally found its way to the surface, and I eventually had hope for this couple.

This book was pure perfection. I honestly cant remember the last time a book was this perfect (ok, I can but it's been a while).

I honestly have no complaints about this book. And if you know me, that's pretty rare. Even when I love a book, there's usually SOMETHING that bugs me or something that didn't work for me, even if it's small and doesn't keep me from loving the book. But this book...P.E.R.F.E.C.T.I.O.N.

I think L.J. Shen is a mind reader, she always knows what type of story and characters I need at the moment and Dirty Headlines was that and more. As always I love Shen's writing and complex romance story line. Both leads are smart, damn good at their jobs and have this undeniable attraction that's off the charts.My favorite piece was Jude, she was not a character I have ever read before, she was extremely original in all the right ways.

Dirty Headlines follow Jude Humphry's who is down in her lu I think L.J. Shen is a mind reader, she always knows what type of story and characters I need at the moment and Dirty Headlines was that and more. As always I love Shen's writing and complex romance story line. Dirty Headlines follow Jude Humphry's who is down in her luck, no longer with her boyfriend, and she had a one night stand with an unbelievable hot french guy. Oh yah and she stole hos wallet because her dad's sick and she need to pay the medical bills. She's not one to steal but desperate times calls for desperate measures. She did have a bit of luck finding a job at one of the best media houses in the city, the crap part is her boss is her one night stand who wasn't very truthful with her that he was just visiting. Now these two come crashing together in angst, passion and making the best news possible come from their media house.

Jude, oh Jude, she is one in a million, so real and seriously smart. She is determined to earn her place and show that she knows her stuff. Yah she may have a fun appearance with wearing a different color pair of Chucks depending on her mood, but she wants to strive in her new office. However her one night stand and boss Célian are making things way harder, because he wants her, wants his wallet and doesn't give a damn about the consequences. Jude inst prepared for him but she also cant say no, they just have this connection and damn is it hot. Nonetheless her main priority is her fathers health and making sure he's good.

Célian oh how I love this unapologetic man, he is ruthless in the office, not known for being a nice guy. But he also makes his company the best and wants it to be better by getting ride of his awful and disgusting father. I have no idea how he dealt with a man like his father over the years, what an awful human being. Judes appearance in the office makes it harder for Célian and a great target for his father. Which causes some friction along the way. Jude is also the one and only person that put Célian in his place, they interactions of sarcasm and passion build and seriously made me laugh and swoon.

Overall I never wanted this story to end, I wanted a HEA but I seriously need more, because these two were so much fun and Célian is my new book husband, yes not boyfriend, husband! LOL. I even wore my Chucks the other day in honor of Jude and Célian because I missed their world so much. If your looking for a fantastically writing office romance, that does stay pretty damn professional in the office, but steams it up every where else, then look no further. ...more

I loved this story. Chasing headlines and making headlines. Jude thinks she is destined to never find love. Celion has no room for love in his fast paced, high power life. But love and life and fate have other ideas! Awesome narration!

I just loved this book, Jude was sassy & strong, she didn't put up with any of Celian's bs. Celian was very sexy, cocky and sure of himself, a real alpha male. The sex scenes between these two were very HOT.
I loved all the side characters, Grayson and Ana were so much fun and Jude's father was such a sweetheart.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to end. ...more
