I’m a sweet and salty gal. Yep. Gimme some sugar but I’d like a side of tang too, please. When it comes to books, not everyone can deliver both; but Walker seems to soar with ease. She mentioned it was ‘everything I needed to read right now’ and she was spot on. I would wager you will feel the same.

What's to like: Stuart is cocky and far from coy but he has created a facade that he hides behind. Unfortunately, his guise is slowly suffocating him. What's to like: Stuart is cocky and far from coy but he has created a facade that he hides behind. Unfortunately, his guise is slowly suffocating him. His doctor called his bluff and ordered him a two-week vacation to regain the reigns that have been slipping away from him. His plan is to set sail with a ‘special friend’ and cut ties from his world for two weeks. Last minute, he’s disappointed to discover he’s going alone. Grudgingly he forges ahead only to find the Captain of the yacht is a walking wet dream. Perhaps all his wishes will still come true. Foster has lived the high life. He also abandoned it when he realized it was slowly sucking the light from him. Fame and fortune aren’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Now he does what makes him happy. He lives a simple and full life…alone. He thought he had everything his heart desired until he met Stuart. Now he understands he is free but not complete. He wants someone to tie his heart to…and he wants that someone to be Stuart. But what if Stuart doesn’t feel the same? They’ve only just met. Could they really truly have something real?

What's to love: This romance begins as a holiday fling consisting of not much more than a dozen days. And yet, I never felt it was rushed or instalove. I can only equate that with brilliant writing. It is racy but real. Around the notorious “third through and thoroughly had” mark the heat level kicks up several notches. The sexual tension thrums from the pages until then. Foster is holding back, trying to hold onto his rules, but Stuart obliterates every single one of them. Their first kiss is soooo sexy. Lick, sip, and suck is definitely a smoking hot game when it comes to these two. But pushing all the steam aside, they are so sweet together. I adored the tender moments. I reveled in the connection, their bond, their click…because they do. They are adorable and I couldn’t get enough. I wavered between the desperate urge to finish and longing to stay with them for as long as possible. I loved the paradise we travel through. My mouth watered during meal time. And my heart thundered during the last ten percent. Never fear…the ending was pure perfection. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Well, okay…I could ask for a future sneak peek. Maybe something pertaining to a moon. *wink*

Beware of: Stuart might rub you the wrong way at first but please give him time to show his true colors, he’s not used to revealing them. Foster made me melt and I have a feeling you’ll fall under his spell too. Tangling with tequila can end one of two ways and we witness both.

This book is for: If your palate craves both sweet and spice this sizzling summer ride is one you’re going to want to slip onto. Surf, sun, and Speedo…need I say more? Oh! And *wipes drool* The cover is slightly deceiving…it’s wet and white but not completely accurate…truth be told, I’m not complaining.

After reading a couple of murder/mysteries I was in the mood for a romance. And that’s what I got with Private Charter, pure romance. The kind that leaves you with a goofy smile on your face-that kind of romance. Sweet, sexy, low angst romance. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, this book delivers!

Ms. Walker is one of my all time favorite authors, and her latest novel did not dissapoint. I love the feelings she so giftedly is able to weave into all of her stories, I am always able to connect with her characters, which for me is the real reason I read. Anyhoo, this one will take you out to the Great Barrier Reef, I dare you not to fall in love this couple white speedos and all.

Daqueles livros fáceis de ler e de simpatizar.
Apesar de abordar muito o mesmo do inicio ao fim, que são as férias num iate, com passagem por vários sítios turisticos australianos, ainda abordou o burnout, a ganância do mundo financeiro e o querer estar no topo.

This book has it all - sun, sand and sea! Set in Far North Queensland the book is set around a private charter for 2 weeks for Stuart Jenner. His guide for this trip of a lifetime is hunky sailor and yacht owner Foster Knight.
The chemistry between these two is immediate, however Foster is hesitant to cross that line between guest and host.
