It's so hard to really review K.A's books sometimes. I love her so much, but there are times when I am frustrated beyond belief. She has the uncanny ability to make me fall in love with characters then have them do something to annoy me. At the same time the thing is annoying me and I'm asking myself why is this happening, the character will turn around and ask themselves the same or something similar. Three Wishes was okay, didn't love it, didn't hate it, just somewhere in between.

I found parts of the story happened so quickly while others were a little too drawn out. It was an interesting premise where Lily made a wish to her genie, Fazire, for the man of her dreams that matched the men in the love stories she enjoyed reading. She was very specific in what she wanted making the wish very complicated and the love story heartbreaking at times.

Usually I love to hate KA and her Alpha male leads, or rather I hate to love them! I just couldn’t warm to Nate though and nor could I forgive him his bad manners and bad behaviours towards Lily.
I did love the concept of Three Wishes though (I mean who wouldn’t want their own Genie?!) hence the mid range rating.

This is not a favorite genre for me but KA style made it much easier to enjoy. Love love love the characters! Will definitely finish all of the series.
