This was a great read. Fantastic story. But I was not feeling these two as a couple till about 75% in. She left you on a cliff, then softens that a bit but still I didn’t like it. I’m worried she will drag this out like she did Vlads books.

I think i should have read Bound by Flames or Into the Fire first, before i read this book. Just so i'm not curious with what happen between Ian and Vlad :)

I was excited to get Ian's story after reading the stories of the rest of his "family" and I was not disappointed.

Ian and Veritas are characters we have seen throughout the other books set in the Night Huntress word. If you know them you would be surprised and absolutely delighted to see these two having to work together, while falling for one another.

It is the class tale of opposites attracting. The law breaker and the law enforcer.
