It took me awhile to get into this one. There was so many details and characters mentioned, I couldn’t figure out who was who. Once I settled down, I did enjoy the story, especially the main characters, Dante and Rook.

I loved this book. It was not believable at all. Poor Rook get shot, checks himself out of the hospital against doctor’s orders then he gets hit by a car. While most people would not be able to walk, Rook was Superman, I think, because he has sex. It was robust sex at that. Dante was a cop that was trying to get the one that got away. That one was Rook. I guess he decided let him go and bed him. Lol. It was a fun read with a lot of violence against poor Rook.

Also you automatically exclude (view spoiler). The sex was hot and watching these two grow to trust & care for ea ...more
