A beautifully written story of survival, trust, and love. This is a book that caught me by the heartstrings and I could not quit reading until I finished the last word. Fate brings TJ and Anna together - a young man of 16 and his tutor, who is 30. After a crash landing at sea, they survive for 3-1/2 years on a deserted island. There are plenty of ups and downs and twists and turns they must encounter over the years. And a relationship that becomes stronger with each year that passes faces its ha

WOW! This might possibly be the best book I've read all year! It's definitely the most original. When 30 yr old teacher, Anna and 16yr old TJ are on a seaplane to catch up with his parents, they end up crashing and living alone on an island for 4 years. I couldn't read this fast enough. I loved this book, it was wonderful. It’s one of those books that you don’t want to put down and keeps you wanting to go back to it all the time.
It got straight into the story, no boring slow parts, I lot of books I read take till about half way through to get into it and this was straight to the story from the first page, no fluff or fillers, and long winded descriptions.
Can’t wait to read more of this author’s books.

Anna is a teacher who gets a job tutoring for the summer. The good thing is the tutoring will take place on a beautiful island, so she gets to do the job she loves and enjoy some sand and sun.
T.J. has just went into remission for cancer, and his parents make him go on vacation to spend time with family and to receive the tutoring he needs to get caught up in school.
On the way to the island, the unthinkable happens and Anna and T.J end up stranded.
