2020 WTF A MOVIE????? WHY????? HOW???? WHAT ABOUT A SEQUEL TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FIRST,
(NOT THAT I WOULD PLAN ON READING IT BUT STILL)

WELL WELL WELL! THAT TOTALLY WAS LEFT FOR A SEQUEL! I am so disappointed I don't know where to even start. This was a sad excuse for a book or story. I loved Fifty Shades but this book was just bad. The H, a whore who just falls for his cleaner but why and how? There is nothing to explain the infatuation of both characters, just insta lust. I just can't get over the ...more

'The Mister" was a sweet and charming romance with a passionate edge... when a 'spare' falls for his cleaner.

Hero, Maxim Trevelyan has just lost his oldest brother, Christopher Trevelyan aka Kit in a motorbike accident and is now the Earl of Trevelick! All his life he's been the 'spare' to his brother, Kit and he's a bit overwhelmed with the title and duties as the thirteenth Earl of Trevethick. His best friend and ex-girlfriend, Caroline (Caro) was Kit's wife and two days after his death, the 'The Mister" was a sweet and charming romance with a passionate edge... when a 'spare' falls for his cleaner.

Hero, Maxim Trevelyan has just lost his oldest brother, Christopher Trevelyan aka Kit in a motorbike accident and is now the Earl of Trevelick! All his life he's been the 'spare' to his brother, Kit and he's a bit overwhelmed with the title and duties as the thirteenth Earl of Trevethick. His best friend and ex-girlfriend, Caroline (Caro) was Kit's wife and two days after his death, these two end up doing the horizontal tango on two separate occasions with profound regrets - but I really felt like Caroline had a hidden agenda throughout this gem of a journey romance.

To make matters worse, Kit revised his will a few months before his death and left 'nada thing' to his wife, Caroline so what's up with that move...Kit trusted EVERYTHING to his spare, Maxim Trevelyan! Buggers right or as Maxim says, "Fuck a duck!"

Anyway, cheeky Maxim was a bonafide manwhore to the 3rd degree and he had no problem with his lifestyle until he meets his new daily or cleaner, Alessia Demachi and its instant lust for the both of them but a complete one-eighty and a foreign feeling for Maxim Trevelyan! Maxim became an observant, protective, possessive and supportive everything when it came to his 'lovely' Alessia !

Alessia did not have an easy life as Maxim but after she fled Albania to London with her mother's assistance, it seemed to go quickly downhill from there... until she finds Magda, Michal and of course her employer, Mister: Maxim. Alessia is a wary one though with horrible secrets that she shares with her Mister and the bond is set.

I'm trying not to give any more spoilers and even triggers for that matter, but don't think FSOG please--- think of "The Mister" as a young couple's sweet journey together after despair. Secondary characters were plentiful - good and bad and a few getting their comeuppance or downuppance as my sister says! lol

So no one or two stars from me. I enjoyed it and delighted in Maxim and Alessia's journey after their storms and then... Anatoli finds Alessia in London! Dang!

Read "The Mister" and the woman who makes Maxim a better man and see Alessia who becomes his confident partner!
