*Note to self dont start a Brittainy Cherry book unless you intend to be up until 2am because you literally can not put it down.
I fell in love with this book from the first chapter, I mean c’mon Mr. Rogers, Harry Potter, AND Spice Girls references! Not to mention serious nostalgia from being a teen in the early 2000s.
All that aside, I fell hard for Grayson East, the boy AND the broken man he became, and his redemption was everything!

Oh be still my heart. This book took me in so many directions that my heart just couldn't take it. I loved Grey and Ellie growing up, I love Grey being such a great friend. They were both so broken and found love and friendship with each other when they needed each other.
Fast forward fifteen years and I couldn't stand Grey - even though he had such a great reason to be even more broken.

Once I started, I didn't want to stop. That's what happens just about every single time I pick up a book by Brittainy C. Cherry.
Was this perfect? No. It was a heartbreaking tale of love and loss and 2nd chances.
Did I think that Eleanor was too forgiving? Yes, but it wouldn't have been her otherwise.
