4 stars for - Eighty-One Nights - book one in the Beautiful Illusions duet by Georgia Cates. As with almost all duets this book ends in a cliffhanger that leaves you yearning for more of Hutch and Lou. The author states she took beloved elements from some of her other series and intentionally weaved them into this duet. Wow...this was an excellent read!! It had everything I look for in a book. The hero, Hutch is a wealthy and domineering character who lives in Scotland. He hires Lou to be his companion through a service and he is her first client. I loved this book to pieces and couldn’t put it down.
