An extraordinarily different beginning to a new duet by a new-to-me author. I'm still trying to absorb what I just read and frantically jump into the second book that's available now. Yes, there's a big cliffy and thankfully not a huge hole of empty space awaiting me until I'm able to move on and find the answers I desperately need. I LOVED this novel, I started reading and this novel sucked me in from the very first page and I could not put it down. So good! I loved the characters, Nick and Quinn. This is not my go-to genre but I have loved this author's previous novels so I had to read Parallel, I am so glad I did. I freakin loved it. This book blew my mind!! One of my favorite things when reading, is when a book feels like a puzzle, and you’re trying to put together the pieces and figure out the mystery of what is going on! This book was exactly that. So many twists and turns and I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen but I just had to find out!!

That ending killed me!! I immediately bought the next book and plan to devour it as well, I just have to see how Quinn and Nicks story will end!!!
