Radd Reader
“All people moved between darkness and light into those gray areas between the two, the only difference between any of them being the degree in which they walked in shadow and how far they traveled into murkier depths. Sometimes an evil man acted as a hero, and sometimes a victim became a tormenter. Criminals exhibited unexpected grace, and honest men had moments of great weakness."

In a brilliant and spectacular follow-up to WHERE THE BLAME LIES, Mia Sheridan continues with another equally outstanding case of murder and mayhem in a searing story surrounding abused and damaged people, but mostly about their resilience, strength and survival beginning with a gut-wrenching Prologue. With ties to the first book in the WHERE duet, fans will be happy to see the return of Josie and Zach.

I didn't love it, love it like I did Where the Blame Lies but still very good suspense, I adored Reed, and Liza was such a strong woman. I liked it! Happy reading!

Perfect follow up to Where The Blame Lies which absolutely must be read first. Reed ( Josie’s son) is the hero here. I loved that this is his book. Mystery aside, and it’s a doozy, it’s the relationships that make this book for me. Reed with his sister, Josie and especially Zach (Sigh). Don’t worry in this there’s plenty of action with another serial killer terrorizing the town. It’s just as twisty as the first and I loved it. 5 stars.

For Reed – his one-night stand would become front and center when he began a murder investigation at a hospital. The doctor that found the murdered individual was none other than Liza.

As the intricacies of this murder start to unfold, Reed can’t help but to find himself drawn to the woman who seems to be at the center of the investigation. Secrets begin to un
