4.5 ‘’Oh fuck. I’m useless! Done gone and fell in love‘’ stars

Did Bo have any idea how far Lucky had fallen? Did he know Lucky would give up a shot at freedom to spend a few more days with him? Dangerous thoughts.

I was expecting to like this but I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. Everything about this book was perfect for my taste and I had such a fun time reading it.

This was a good read. Former drug trafficker Richmond “Lucky” Lucklighter flaunts his past like a badge of honor. He speaks his mind, doesn’t play nice, and flirts with disaster while working off his sentence with the Southeastern Narcotics Bureau and if he can stay out of trouble he will be a free man. I really liked their boss Walter he sees Lucky for who he really is Bo Schollenberger is his exact opposite and they say opposites attracts right. I really had a hard time getting into this book. I was hoping that it would get better if I just kept reading and it did. I still don’t know if I liked Lucky or not. He was very selfish in his actions. Even when he thought Bo would be better without him. It was what Lucky thought. He did not listen very well to Bo.
