So, this is not usually my type of read, but I had to read a Fairy Tale Retelling for a challenge, so why not a Tarzan retelling. Welp, let me tell you, I freaking loved it!!
Of course there were some things that were hard to believe, but that’s what fiction is, right??? I kind of knew what to expect, since it is about the King of the Jungle.

3.5 RATING ~ I liked the first half better than the second. Not very believable but overall enjoyed the story. It didn’t hurt that I had no expectations going in.

I really enjoyed this retelling of Tarzan. This was emotional, but also full of love and some spice.
I immediately felt the connection between Eden and Throne, and I loved how the author dealt with their differences due to the way Throne was raised. I really felt that they loved one another in that short amount of time, but I would have been like Eden as well; wondering if he thinks he loves me because I'm basically the first woman who could be his mate.
