Shelves: virgin-heroine, football-player-heroes, roommates-to-lovers

It was a quick read and I enjoy the jealousy while string her up with someone else kind of trope. I think what keeps me from rating it higher is while I enjoyed seeing a scientist heroine, i love the tropes and I liked the characters, the story didn’t delve deeply into either one of them. There’s some time spent on Devon’s issues and some on Giselle, it took a while to get there and the payoff was just missing something for me. Ultimately it’s just a cute read, not a great one.

This author's novels just keep getting better. I loved this novel. From the very first page, I was entranced and this novel did not let me go until the very last page. I did not want it to end. I loved Giselle and Devon. Oh my gosh, they both touched my heart. I love a novel that reaches into your heart and touches it. This novel did this for me. It checked all of my boxes. It was just ok...wtf?

“You really think that about me?”
“Oh, Devon. You are the best person in all my universes.” She wraps her arms around me, holding me tight, so tight, and I cling to her.

Ilsa Madden-Mills is one of my favorite authors. I'm not sure what I've ever given one of her books less than 5 stars. Until now.

One thing I really don't like in books is when people like each other but keep it a secret. This was Not My Match is about. The MCs don't really get together until around 80%.

Humor and hotness in a heartfelt package!

Most epic prayer of all time! And one of the most fun reads I've had so far this year!

This book had me feeling SO MUCH! One minute I'd be frustrated, then I'd be swooning, then I'd be laughing, then I'd be fanning my face, then I'd be heartbroken...and round and round the emotion wheel turned. 4 and a half stars. Sexy and fun and some roller coaster emotions. Loved both main characters.
I was worried at first jumping into this one since I have no interest in reading Not My Romeo, but I had no issues and I’m glad I read it.
