I think this one might be my favorite.
I feel a little confused though. I mean, I really enjoyed it even when I was annoyed. And yes, I was a tad bit annoyed with both of them.
The struggle is real and I feel so much for both of them. Truly.
What I loved, loved, loved was how very exciting this was. I loved how dangerous it felt.
I loved the road trip and where it took them. Such a lovely surprise.
I really need more though and don't feel like waiting for it. They are growing and I need to be a par ...more

Second time read.I liked it more than I did the first time but Kit is still whiny and too negative.
I love most of Josh Lanyon's work but for some reason this series didn't do it for me at all.
Maybe because I didn't like Christopher much, he sounded whiny, detached and too woe is unto me, it was annoying and I hardly had any sympathy for his circumstances especially when his childishness was met with such devotion and love from J.X. It came off as a one sided relationship and this theme pushed o ...more

Okay so I'm giving this a 3.5 as I think there was a bit too much going on. A killer, a stalker, a mystery of stolen coins, a new home. I didn't like the whole marry my brothers pregnant girlfriend to do the right thing just thought that was kinda dumb. It would have worked if it was an historical book and not a modern day book. I'm not sure why she is so in love with him when he is gay and in love with & living with a man. I did like seeing them working out their differences and try getting thi

I have been waiting a long time for this book and it was worth it. J.X. and Kit are moving in together and Kit is having a hard time dealing with this. Finding a body in their new home doesn’t help Kit find any comfort in his new house. The mystery was not the best but the relationship between the two main characters made up for it. The humor was just right also I loved seeing Jake and Adrien in a book again.
