Devney Perry is such a fantastic writer, her beautiful worlds building around small towns and the couples that live there are just so darn good. I can never get enough, the Tin Gypsy series has a little more edge and a darker side then the others but its still gold.

As a huge Devney Perry fan, I couldn’t wait for the release of Fallen Jester. Everything involved with the Tin Gypsies has been a thrill ride, so I decided to go into this book ‘blind’. That’s right…..I refused to read any snippets or even the book blurb. Ahhh…..it was so worth it!!

Leo and Cassandra don’t exactly have a lot in common. Unless you count the horrible circumstances that landed Cassandra into the world of the Tin Gypsies in a not so pleasant fashion. This straight-laced college student had her sights set on completing her education and was determined to let nothing drag her off course. That was until she crossed path with Leo Winters. These two spark from the very first time they lay eyes on one another. Things heat up at The Betsy and catch fire all the way through this book!!

Leo and Cassandra are PERFECT for one another!! I loved every single nuance to their personalities and heated interactions. The indecision between the two could be felt with each turn of the page. I loved when Leo finally found the faith he needed to believe in himself. All in all – Fallen Jester was exactly what I needed from beginning to end.

I've been going back and forth between 4 to 5 stars for this book.

4 due to Leo's behavior after finding out about the pregnancy, but 5 due to the growth that we see him experience throughout this journey into fatherhood and falling in love. In the end I settled on 4.5 rounded up to 5.
