For Lucy is an amazingly written story of true love. Emmet was the most amazing man I’ve ever read about. He loves Tatum and Lucy so honestly and effortlessly. Their love story has a lot of ups and downs that were sometimes hard to read. But Emmett held strong in his love for his wife and daughter and did what he thought was right for all of them. Jewel E Ann continues to blow my mind. I am at the point that I don't even look at her teasers, blurbs and excerpts....I love going in completely blind because I know it will:
1) Be amazing
2) Make me swoon
3) Break my heart then mend it (sometimes)
4) Fulfill my angst requirement for the year in one book
I could probably go on and on with reasons to love Jewel's words.

This is a book that tears you apart completely but then comforts you. I was one hundred percent invested in the story from the start and didn’t want to put the book down for real life.

“Without him, it’s a world without music. A life without color. An eternity of numbness.”

I am so glad that I gave this book a chance.
This author definitely knows how to break my heart, put it back together, throw in a few well placed twists ... and then that Zinger of an ending. Don’t forget the tissues!

Oh my gosh, this novel was so very very good! From the moment I started reading this novel I was sucked into the novel and could not put it down until the very last. Tatum and Emmett's story was so good. The novel was gripping, but it broke my heart at times. I love when a novel has great banter, dialogue, can make you laugh out loud and bring you to tears. Wow, this story is so good and so emotional! Some really heavy subjects but so well done.

The love story between Emmett and Tatum is beautiful, but also tragic. You'll definitely shed some tears but your heart will also be so full with their story.
