My review as I read... Girl is in some deep doodoo. The story starts off with a bang literally! She's on a mission but she's mixed up with a couple very deadly dangerous men. Raize is very good looking but he is empty, dark. Definitely can tell he's had a horrible past. Girl ( that's what they call her) is kind of attracted to Raize. She knows that's a very bad thing. If dangerous, violent men are not your thing, skip over those parts cuz it's to good not to read! 😄 Back to reading..

Tijan has had a fan in me since her early Fallen Crest days and y'all, what a brilliant book this was. Tijan always makes my yearly top reads lists and my reread piles but y'all. Whoa. This book, different in so many amazing ways and captivating from the very first page to the last word.

What an absolute STUNNER Canary was. Grittier, rawer, more intense for Tijan. She gave us a mafia-esque romance that'll bring you to your knees honey in all the best moments.
