This is a new to me author and without a doubt, I will be reading more of Ms. Steiner. I really enjoyed the writing, and it was a quick read that packed a big punch. Lots of feels and angst wrapped up in beautiful blanket.

3.75 Snowed-In at Christmas Stars!

This was a rather sweet, feel good, Hallmark-worthy, Christmas novella. It was like wrapping myself up in Eliza's & River's Christmas blanket, next to the roaring fire, with Moose warming my feet. I really loved the second-chance romance aspect of their story.

I loved this book soo much!! I loved that we are following a divorced couple finding themselves again. I always say if it's meant to be it will happen. Sometimes you just need to experience life before you can truly settle down. This book spoke to me because my husband and I dated when I was in high school and then broke up for 5 or so years and got back together. Not sure how I’m feeling.
It was a quick and easy listen.
I didn’t hate the narrator so that’s a plus. (I’m very picky 😂)
I kind of wish there were more flashbacks to show their relationship.

Omg! This book was so good. Like a warm chocolate chip cookie hot out of the oven. I was in a bit of a book funk and I wanted something short like a novella to help me out. This didn’t disappoint. While I was happy that it was a novella I really wanted more of Eliza and Rivers story. A snow storm, an ex husband and a Christmas blanket= Happiness.
